Fresh Ideas, Shared Purpose: Pathways Rediscovered Partners with Colorado State University Students
What do you get when you bring together a community-focused mission, a group of creative college students, and a brand-new shopping destination with a purpose? A partnership full of fresh ideas and exciting possibilities!
As Pathways Rediscovered moves closer to opening its doors in Loveland, we're finding new ways to introduce this unique venture to the community. One of our newest partnerships brings some extraordinary talent to the table: students in a merchandising class at Colorado State University!
Connecting With a New Generation
Pathways Rediscovered is designed to be a place where community, generosity, and purpose come together. Through donations, volunteering, and shopping, community members will help support the care and services Pathways provides every day.
To help spread the word, CSU students are working on a project to develop an Instagram presence that connects with millennial and Gen Z shoppers and supporters. These audiences represent an opportunity to introduce a new generation to the idea that shopping can do more than fill a need. It can also make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
The students are bringing their classroom learning into the real world, exploring creative ways to tell the Pathways Rediscovered story and engage audiences who may be discovering Pathways for the first time.
Big Ideas and Exciting Possibilities
The project recently reached an exciting milestone when student teams presented their mid-project concepts and ideas. Their presentations offered fresh perspectives, creative approaches, and plenty of inspiration for what comes next.
We left the presentations energized by the students' work and eager to see how their ideas continue to develop as they move toward their final projects.
We're especially grateful to Assistant Professor Heejin An, Ph.D., for helping make this collaboration possible, and to all the students who are investing their creativity and talent in our mission.
Community Partnerships Make Our Mission Stronger
At Pathways, we know meaningful community connections take many forms. Sometimes, they look like a volunteer giving their time, a neighbor donating items, or a shopper finding something special. Other times, they look like a group of students sharing their skills and helping us see new opportunities.
Each partnership brings something valuable to the table. Collaborations with educational institutions like CSU allow students to gain practical experience while helping Pathways explore new ways to connect with the people and communities we serve. They also remind us that there are many ways to participate in a mission that makes a difference.
As Pathways Rediscovered prepares to open, we're excited to build relationships with people who share our enthusiasm for creating something special. Every donation, volunteer hour, purchase, and community connection will help make this endeavor meaningful.
Be Part of the Pathways Rediscovered Story
Pathways Rediscovered is more than a place to shop. It's an opportunity for our community to turn generosity into lasting impact and help sustain the compassionate care and services Pathways provides.
We're grateful to our CSU partners for helping us imagine new possibilities, and we can't wait to share more as Pathways Rediscovered gets ready to welcome the community.
